Goat Fun Day - update on activities

Hi all,

Just wanted to give a little informal update on what's been happening in our plans for Goat Fun Day 2008.

We were able to make the Express newsletter deadline with a "SAVE THE DATE" ad for Goat Fun Day. Since this is the March 1 newsletter - we asked for people to call the extension office to register right away.

We have had a few people on the planning committee already working on donations - thank you! We are looking for donations towards the food costs, thank you gift for the veterinarian guest speaker, awards for the quiz bowl winners and the door prize drawings that we have during the lunch break.

Maruska has prepared a thank you letter for your use on our letterhead. Please contact lori_greenacres@yahoo.com if you need it emailed to you.

Catalogs have been ordered from a few of the goat supply companies and will be available at the freebies booth.

Quiz bowl questions are posted - please encourage your youth to participate!

ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 12th @ 7pm @ the Extension Office we have our final planning meeting for this event - please plan to attend!
